At the Borghese, pay special attention to Bernini’s sculpture of Pluto and Proserpine. The way his fingers indent her flesh is the most sensuous bit of marble whacking I’ve ever seen. I also like the beautiful surfaces of Apollo and Daphne. And don’t miss seeing the ecstasy of St. Theresa at the eponymous church.
