With all the incredible street music, gorgeous architecture, and fantastic people-watching, you can enjoy a pretty great day in New Orleans without spending a dime. But opening your wallet a bit can open up some special experiences. We splurged on $100 tickets to see the Preservation Hall Legacy Band. Sure, that’s a lot to spend for a 45 minute show, but we were close enough to sense the floor vibrating under the piano and feel the clarinetist’s breath coming out of his instrument. It was an amazing experience that we will both remember for a long, long time.
