2. Caffe Florian in Piazza San Marco

Reputedly the oldest continually operating coffee house in Europe, Caffe Florian has been serving up overpriced drinks and unmatched romantic atmosphere since 1720. Sure, €35 euro for a beer and a cup of tea is outrageous. But sitting here at night while the orchestra plays is an unforgettable and quintessentially Venetian experience.
